Exceptional
Liked: Excellent house in a very central quiet location with free parking right outside the house. The communication with the owners was amazing couldn’t fault it.
Disliked: The only downside was the bed in the main bedroom the mattress was very uncomfortable and really small it was a double. For the size of the room I would think a bigger bed would be better. We would love to stay again but the bed would make us think twice unfortunately.
Fantastic - would stay again!
Liked: We really loved everything about the Courtyard Cottage. The location was perfect for a short 5-10 minute stroll into the city centre. There was ample parking on the streets nearby. The house itself was really well furnished and a lovely mix of modern and traditional. The kitchen was well furnished and there was a good amount of cleaning and hygiene products available if you forget your own. The owners were also very responsive and very accommodating.
Disliked: Nothing, it was fantastic!
Perfect in every way!
Liked: The location was fantastic, just close enough to the city centre not to need a taxi but also located in a nice quiet location away from the city.
Disliked: a downstairs toilet but it didn't take away from how nice the property was.
Lovely, well equipped cottage - we loved it
Liked: Beautiful place … really cosy and with a lovely piano! Perfect for the city centre and whilst we came by train the parking would have been handy if we’d driven.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like but maybe a cosy mattress topper for a slightly cosier bed?
Liked: Big and spacious with parking permit. Short walk into centre of town. Quiet location.
Excellent base for our short visit to York
Liked: Location is excellent - only 5-10 minutes walk to town centre but quiet and relaxing. Area has its own distinct character with lots of community oriented pubs, cafes and restaurants. Terraced house is well furnished, with quality fixtures and fittings and thoughtfully laid out. All instructions easy to understand and apply. We would definitely stay again when in York.
