Very good
All good, would stay again
Liked: Great location, comfortable rooms, clean bedding and towels
Disliked: All in all good but kettle leaked, great for price x
Loved being in York. Thankful for a good place to stay overall
Liked: Nice room. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: The shower on the top floor had trouble with very hot temp vs. very cold water temps.
Liked: The room were so clean! I really appreciate it. Very simple staying and good location. Overall is good.
Liked: The location was good, you can reach the old city within 25 minutes of walking or taking a bus.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the room was super cold. The heater didn't work. There was a portable heater but unfortunately it didn't provide enough heat to warm up the room. That is why we had a very uncomfortable night.
Liked: Everything. Very comfortable and clean!
Liked: It was very clean when we arrived. We got given clear directions and check-in instructions although it took a while for someone to answer the phone probably because we got there at 7pm. All the facilities included in the description are available. The property is very close to town (19 minute walk). We had a lovely stay and the staff were very nice.
Disliked: Upon arrival it took three attempts for a member of staff to answer the phone to get check-in instructions which made us worry that we wouldn’t be able to get in. For some reason I couldn’t provide them with our arrival time to receive check-in instructions via email because according to booking.com I didn’t have any bookings (maybe it was an issue concerning the app). There were no spaces to park my car in front of the property, so I would recommend arriving quite early to secure a space.
