Guest reviews
Good
Adequate but not memorable
Liked: The staff were great. The location was excellent and the room was good and spacious.
Disliked: Breakfast was not hot. All items were cooked well but just warm enough. The two flights of stairs to our room in the town house were very steep and me and my wife are both in our 50's.
Welcoming and good location
Liked: Great location for a visit to York. The hotel was clean. The room was comfortable. The shower was good. Pip, on reception, was welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast was really good and the restaurant staff were friendly.
Disliked: The heating was a bit noisy in the room, but not enough to stop us sleeping.
Great Choice
Liked: Comfortable good size room
Disliked: The room needs more lighting
Good
Liked: Central to the city easy walking distance to everything.
Disliked: Very limited parking had to use a different car park. However this was right next to the hotel. Would be nice if guests could get a discount for using the car park but staying at the hotel as they are expensive for 24hrs
Clean comfortable
Liked: Location and available parking easy to locate
Disliked: Room facing onto main road has continuos noice all night
Great location, good price, very helpful staff
