A gem near the city centre
Liked: Great location, Mark was friendly, room was big and clean, bed was comfy, parking available, great directions provided before arrival.
Disliked: Noise from the main road but it’s to be expected. Parking area was small but Mark organises this well to ensure everyone fits.

Liked: Mark was a great host with lots of good information and recommendations for sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent - so easy to walk around the city. Recommend Bill's for breakfast and doing the York Cat Hunt. Note that the stairs are very narrow so not good for large suitcases. We decanted into a smaller bag, leaving the big one in the car. Parking behind the hotel is tricky but Mark does a great job to manage it.
