  Good for a short stay in central york

  Liked: Great location and convenient. Spacious room and bathroom, good shower.

  Disliked: Bed was too low for us, lamp didnt work properly.

  Liked: The room was spotless.& Good location.

  Disliked: The bed was old & lumpy & the bed linen was heavily used& needed replacing. Pillows lost all fluffiness & the fabric of the bedding was itchy, most likely from being so used & old.

  Liked: Location was good.

  Disliked: The room was dirty. The ceiling light was broken and no other lighting. The mattress was absolutely disgusting and really badly stained. They had flipped the mattress over to hide how bad it was.

  Liked: The location was beautiful and it was right in the town centre. Also on a night its all lit up and the view from your bedroom window is gorgeous 😍

  Disliked: The bed was a little uncomfortable and it was noisy, also the stairs were very steep.

  Some tlc needed

  Liked: Room was a nice size and big bathroom,lovely view of the river staff was nice,went to lil,s bistro for breakfast great food and staff

  Disliked: Bed was uncomfortable mattress too big for bed,could have done with a lamp in room instead of using big light,needs a little tlc,lightshade was tatty
