Guest reviews
Fabulous
Liked: Spacious room, well stocked and didn't want anything else. Lovely pub, staff and food served there.
Disliked: I'm 6ft 4 and couldn't stretch out in bed due to the type of bedframe (board at the bottom). No real issue but had to curl up all night
Perfect place to stay, perfect location and the food was amazing, will definitely return to stay there again
Liked: Clean and comfortable
Disliked: Bit small perfect for the night but would need something a bit bigger if staying for a few days but it was our choice to have that room needed curtains up at one of the windows as let light in from outside lights at night
All lovely Thankyou
Liked: Cute
Disliked: Nothing
Mixed feelings, mostly disappointed
Liked: Bed was fairly comfortable. Room was warm. TV was good. Fridge was a good addition. Good range of drinks & biscuits in the room
Disliked: Carpark was full so had to pay £23 to park a short walk away. No curtain or blind covering the main window above the bed so a lot of light got in. Bathroom fan was so filthy, it showered you with fluff while the light was on. Shower tray didn't drain efficiently & filled up quickly. Pillows like bricks. Door only stayed shut if it was locked. Walls paper thin. Generally a bit disappointed overall
Best place in York to stay

Great little room at back of Masons Arms pub. Stayed before Yorkshire Marathon and was a nice 25min stroll to the start
Liked: Great location, comfortable room for solo traveller or couple
