Exceptional
Comfortable and clean and close to town
Liked: Snacks, meet and greet and basic essentials dor groceries helped us settle well
Great location: super host!
Liked: It was ideally located. The free parking is a big plus. The bedrooms are spacious. Peter is a charming, helpful and generous host: nowhere else have we ever been provided with such a wealth of provisions. Just fantastic. We were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: Nothing. Those with reduced mobility would find getting into the over-bath shower a challenge.
Couple of days break, which was comfortable and everything we needed
Liked: Home from home, very comfortable everything we needed once we got in
Disliked: Had to wait for the keys to be delivered a bit late
Lovely, clean, well-kept spacious apartment, great hosts, fab river location near city centre
Liked: The host Peter was there when I arrived to let me in and show me how everything worked, and was so friendly and helpful. The apartment is very clean, spacious and great location (beautiful river walk just across the road, Asda v nearby and less than 10-minute walk to city centre). We also loved that they provide basics like bread, jam and milk for you, and even wine and chocolate.
Disliked: A few things need replacing or adding, eg we couldn't find a good sharp veg knife or bread knife. I would have preferred cotton to synthetic bedding, but some people might not mind this and the beds were still comfortable.
Liked: We both loved how everything was presented, this apartment gives a lot more than as described, Peter and his daughter Rachael a think it was had gone out there way to include so many extras even I was surprised!
Disliked: For me personally owing to my weight id prefer a divan double bed and Blackout curtains in all rooms despite them having both blinds and light curtains. I have sight issues and found the bedside lamps to be too bright as you look down on top of bulb. These are fine for everyone else and was a very minor issue owing to my cataract problems.
Bars restaurants & sight seeing
Liked: Just 10 minutes to walk to the nearest gate in the city wall.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
