Not as good as I was expecting
Disliked: The photographs didn’t match reality and in my opinion was very different from previous reviews. The entrance to make your way to the apartment was dirty and dingy. The actual apartment was ok and clean
Comfy, clean and super location
Liked: Lovely, clean apartment in a great location. 15 minute walk into York centre. I stayed here with my partner, my teenage daughter and my dog. The parking was nice and private, off the road at the rear of the property. A pub just 50yds up the road, handy if you just want a little refreshment. We would definitely stay here again!
Disliked: No complaints at all.
An unmitigated disaster
Disliked: We were not informed that the apartment was on the third floor, up 4 flights of stairs, not exactly elderly or disabled friendly. The bedding Had not been changed or made up from the previous guests. The kitchen had not been cleaned and had a rubbish bag full of trash and waste food. The bathroom had not been cleaned, with wet dirty towels on the shower floor so we were unable to take shower. There pubic hairs on the wash basin side, a tampon and discarded sweets in the rubbish bin. The top bedroom had a broken blind and dressing table draw. The wash lines in the living room was broken and hanging from the wall. The internet wasn’t working. I found the modem hanging off the wall with the power lead disconnected. I replaced the modem and power lead, then found the TV required a password or account to be able to watch. Due to the above and the evidence attached, I expect a full refund. Regards Julie Havler
