Exceptional
Would stay again 100%
Liked: Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was gorgeous and really friendly staff.
Disliked: Noise from trains nearby was a little disturbing but we would definitely stay again.
With the money and clean and very good breakfast plenty of choice
Liked: Lovely place to stay and very convenient for buses and very reasonable Taxi and very good price and transport to the city and local sightseeing.
Disliked: A bit of a struggle going up the steel stairs from the car park to enter the building with luggage, although the is a front entrance just no where to park only on main road to property, but plenty of parking at the back in the car park.
Liked: I like the location just outside the city center, lots of cafes, pubs, shops and the city center is nearby walking distance from this accommodation. The host is a really nice lady who explained where we can find pubs, to see attraction sites, food, restaurants etc and provided a map during our check in. Also let us check in couple of hours before check-in time.
Disliked: The property is a bit old and needs some renovation.
Would highly recommend
Liked: Really nice breakfasts with a range of options. Very friendly and helpful staff / hosts. Finding somewhere so close to the centre of York with parking also a bonus, but it's very close to the station too.
Great place to stay
Liked: Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great location. Good breakfast. Car parking on site.
Disliked: Nothing.
Lovely and friendly, evverything you need
Liked: Nice and clean, comfortable with everything we needed.
Disliked: Breakfast was fab, the staff/owners were lovely and friendly! The location was good, a bit of a walk to the centre - about 20 mins to The Shambles but handy to be able to park at the house!
