Very good
Perfect little pub stay
Liked: Loved this last minute getaway with my partner, the room was super cute, very clean, comfy and had everything you needed. The staff are so lovely, the pub downstairs was very sweet with lots going on and great locals enjoying the atmosphere. Dog friendly also which is good to know for future visits and the location is fab for getting around the centre. I would definitely recommend and would stay again ☺️

Only way to enjoy a few days in York is at a tavern
Liked: Loved staying above the pub having a pint heading up to the room or on the way to York proper. The pub staff were helpful and great for conversation. Quiet mornings and live music and football in the evenings.
Pleasant and convenient
Liked: Nice room. Clean. Quiet at the top of the building despite the rather good rock band playing in the bar. Very convenient for the registry office and for the city centre.
Good for a tradition stay
Liked: Great Breakfast, great Location - satisfactory for its age
Disliked: Stairway tight and awkward doors. Room could be a bit larger
Nice room, great pub
Liked: Room was comfy, warm and quiet. The pub downstairs was great, nice clientele, lovely beer on tap and friendly staff. Breakfast was fine, i had to rush a bit as earliest it was available was 8:30 but what i had was nice.
