Fabulous
A lovely hotel
Liked: We really loved our stay at The Churchill Hotel! The reception service was genuinely one of the warmest and most pleasant I have ever experienced. The hotel is spotless, the room was very comfortable, and the bed was great for a good night's sleep. On-site parking is a big plus, though if you have a larger car and the carpark is full, it can be quite tight to manoeuvre. Overall, a lovely hotel!
Disliked: Unfortunately, our flexibility was limited due to policy. There was a severe weather warning (Met Office yellow weather warning) during our dates, and travel was officially advised against. We asked to amend our booking dates for safety, but it wasn't possible.

Disliked: The room was lovely but the bathroom felt like it could be updated, a walk in shower would be better than a shower over a bath.
Enjoyed our stay, good breakfasts. Our room was warm but turned off the radiator. Nice walks into York city centre

Disliked: The igloos can’t be used after 10pm.
Perfect stay in York city centre
Liked: Great location just a short walk from the Minister, beautiful peaceful building Nice contemporary bar with friendly staff and board games, perfect for a last drink before bed. On site restaurant just ordered dessert, home made and to die for🥰
Disliked: They could be more thorough with their room cleaning, nothing major though. Also maybe add toilet brushes
