Guest reviews
Fabulous
House close to York making sightseeing within walking distance. House was great for 2 people
Liked: The hosts were very informative and helpful. The house was great for our dog as the garden was enclosed.
Disliked: There was no bedside table on the one side of bed which made things difficult and the bed was too large for the room but otherwise the stay was great.
Comfy and close to the race course. Needs a little TLC
Liked: Comfy and clean beds. Owner turned up quickly when there was a problem with water/heating and was really accommodating and friendly. Good TV and WiFi. Property could be lovely.
Disliked: Couldn’t get in when I arrived at the right time. Lots of dog poo in the garden. Oven didn’t work (control knob detached) though small oven/grill did. Tatty and a bit neglected. Don’t even consider parking at the house unless you have a very small car. The parking space is fine but the alley corners are wicked.
Liked: Very friendly helpful hosts
Disliked: Manoeuvring a SUV into the back lane
Liked: Comfortable and clean apartment well equipped,
Disliked: Long walk to centre half an hour, walked next to river was okay,
Liked: The space, comfort and peaceful
Disliked: N/a
York city is lovely, accommodation let us down a bit
Liked: Location was great bit difficult to find and it’s tricky to get your car safely round to the accommodation down the alley Good communication from the hosts
Disliked: Oven was very dirty and smelly, the accommodation is in need of a general re fit and decorating looking a bit tired.
