Very good
Don’t think we would stay again
Liked: It was near the baracan theatre
Disliked: The room was noisy with a locked cupboard and think a boiler in it in the room so was noisy throughout our stay and only one tea bag in the room and half a toilet roll and not very clean it’s just the small things then breakfast beans and tomatoes very cold
Liked: The breakfast was lovely. Well cooked and good sized.
Disliked: Room was noisy from outside. Drafty window. Bathroom needed cleaning around toilet and door handles.
Great place and good beer
Liked: A very good base for that side of the city and about 20 minute walk to the centre with a nice breakfast i would and will be staying again
Disliked: Did not dislike anything
Liked: Was a nice cheerful pub
Disliked: Was a bit noisy till closing time, I cannot believe the price of accommodation in York. It is extortionate.
Liked: Friendly staff, room was comfortable and clean and the location wasn’t too far from the city centre.
Disliked: Could hear everything outside, especially high winds and rain making it somewhat difficult to sleep.
Quick visit to York for the University (quite near) also with easy access to the City Centre
Liked: Very comfortable room and very pleasant front-of-house people. The breakfast provision was above expectations - cooked to order and delicious.
Disliked: They closed the kitchen early (7pm) on the Saturday we were going to eat there - had to go elsewhere. No great loss as there are other places nearby, but it seemed a bit quirky.
