Fabulous
We would use York Stays again. Impressed with their service
Liked: Very cosy and comfortable. Tastefully decorated with thoughtful, practical touches in all rooms.

A good place to stay for visiting York if cleaning improves
Liked: A cosy cottage with tasteful décor in a traditional setting. Comfortable beds and a good bathroom. The car park by the city walls is easily accessible.
Disliked: The cleaning methods need to be improved. It was clean, but a bit musty and the dining table was sticky. The cleaning supplies provided were not sufficient to resolve the issue. The host, or the agency representing him, has not responded to that complaint. The stairs are steep and may not be suitable for elder people.
Ideal accommodation for city centre access
Liked: Perfect location for easy walk to city centre. Very quiet for a terraced street. Well equipped, appreciated the 2 fans as we stayed during a heatwave. Clean and welcoming, comfortable beds and sofa.
Disliked: Some tricky half steps directly from bedrooms, not good for anyone unsteady on their legs.
Wonderful property - great location. Highly recommend!
10/10 Beautiful traditional cottage in York
Liked: 10/10 Beautiful, traditional cottage in York. Excellent location, free parking, surprisingly spacious and fantastic facilities - the owner has thought of everything, thank you for providing fans this was a huge bonus in this heatwave. Great communication, super comfy beds, I cannot recommend it enough, we will be back:) Thank you
Disliked: One small detail a handle on the front door would be useful to make sure it fully locks securely.
Fabulous stay, clean, comfortable and so close to the Partisan coffee shop for breakfast, the city walls and city tours!
Liked: Great location. Comfortable lounge. Netflix in TV! Parking taken care of.
Disliked: Steep stairs, narrow kitchen, no grass.
