Exceptional
Comfortable, Well-Equipped Apartment in a Convenient Location
Liked: Well-kept apartment, clean, with new furnishings and everything we needed. Well located (10 minutes walk from the station) and comfortable, with a well-organised host and clear communication.
Disliked: There’s a community centre next door, and some people may gather outside to talk and drink late at night. As we were on the ground floor, we could hear them around 1 am. Something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.
Great location and place to stay
Liked: Clean, modern, central. Helpful staff.
Disliked: Slightly noisy on the street outside but that was only when we had an early night to bed at 10pm. And was only for 10mins. Parking in car park opposite the app says only allowed for max 24 hours, so had to park elsewhere. Lots of permit parking around but you can park on streets about 20min walk away.
Perfect for our needs when we needed some relaxation after a busy week
Liked: Lovely setting. Good facilities particularly having the spa and gym on site. Good value.
Disliked: It’s a few minutes away from York but still quite accessible if you allow time for travelling.
Exactly what we wanted
Liked: We were literally next door to where the gig was that we were going to.
Disliked: There was an alarm going off in the main hallway regarding the fire alarm. It was annoying as we were passing through and slightly unnerving.
Lovely apartment, clean and spacious. Had everything you needed, also left coffe, tea, milk which was a lovely touch. Lo
