  Spacious Comfort with a Touch of Vintage Charm – A Great Stay in Bad Gastein

  Liked: We had a very positive experience during our stay in Bad Gastein. The apartment matched the description perfectly – it was spacious, practical, and even larger than we needed for a family of four. The apartment was exactly as described, offering plenty of room and comfort. While the interior design might not be to everyone’s taste – let’s say it has a “grandma” or even “great-grandma” style, with vintage carpets, sofas, and blue toilets – it was all part of the charm and exactly what we expected based on the listing and reviews. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made a big difference after long days of hiking. The kitchen was very well equipped, allowing us to prepare meals easily. The location is great – just a 2-minute walk to the bus stop, from where you can reach the ski lifts, shops, and other attractions. The host was very friendly, met us on arrival, and helped with parking and getting settled in. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located base in Bad Gastein – especially if you don’t mind a bit of retro charm!

  Disliked: We somehow missed in the reviews that the apartment doesn’t have a balcony, and it’s not particularly bright inside, which might matter to some guests. Also, if you have a very large car or feel uncomfortable driving through narrow streets, reaching the parking spot near the apartment might be a bit of an adventure.

  Fully equipped apartment close tho the center for a good price

  Liked: An old style and fully equipped apartment with lot of space for 6 people. Two bath rooms. Private parking close to house. It is placed close to the center and a ski bus station with quiet surroundings. The communication with owners was excellent and handing over the key was easy.

  Disliked: Nothing to mention.

  Very good

  Liked: Comfort, spacious, clean.

  Disliked: The owner offered to have the property manager collect us at the train station. I understood this to be an offer free of charge. However he charged us 10 euro, even though he was only able to give 4 out of 6 of us a lift to the property. The other two people had to walk. Also we had to pay for storing our ski gear up near the slopes. This was the first time our accommadation had no ski storage.

  Really nice apartment with beautiful view

  Liked: Really nice apartment with a wonderful view. Close by the bus stop, making it easy to go to and from the skilift.

  Disliked: There is no ski depot, which would have been nice. However there are depots at the lift which are good

  Good choice if you’re looking for a practical option; not much more though

  Liked: Spacious, affordable, a practical option from a strictly utilitarian pov. Free parking. Nice view. Relatively short walk downtown (but lots of climbing!)

  Disliked: It wasn’t cleaned up properly, there was dirt and dust in the kitchen and cobwebs in room corners. the windows were dirty and so were the carpets. The furniture and some of the kitchen appliances looked like they were grandma’s. Everything was done on the cheap: cheapest bedsheets, even the liquid soap in the ‘Palmolive’-branded bottle was some other no-name brand! TV and internet were not working; we wrote to the owners about the TV to sort it out, they said they’d look into it and then never got back to us.
