Liked: Closest hotel to the train station and you don't need to go up and down to it or to the lift like for any other. Astonishing breakfast, very good restaurant right on the ground floor (which may be noisy if your room faces it), thermal spa is just in the next building. If you need a roof to sleep under between skiing - go for it.

Disliked: The facility is outdated and needs renovation. Rooms are small and have no ventilation, small uncomfortable beds (you may want to ask for more pillows). If you expect a hotel to stay in for longer, you may want to check other places.

Liked: I had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is right in the heart of Bad Gastein, the breakfasts were delicious breakfast at the neighbouring hotel just around the corner. Here some photos of that museum like place where we eat

  Motorcycle adventure

Liked: A fantastic place, very clean, very tidy, very professional.food was delicious too. Room a good size for sole traveller. You do have to walk down the road to check in at the parent hotel, but that's a pleasure in itself the reception area if full of photos of stars who've stayed over the years. Oh yes parking out the back is free and safe

Disliked: Nothing, everything better than expected

  Liked: Great location, nice room.

Disliked: One has to check in in the Salzburger Hof. It's not a big deal, but still not totally convenient. The room faces a busy street, so it gets noisy sometimes.
