  A place to relax

  Liked: The staff are really friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The hotel was clean and well maintained. I also liked that the hotel is in the centre of Bad Gastein, next to a supermarket, yet it is very peaceful. The staff helped arrange breakfast for me in the morning on one of the days when I had to set off early, before breakfast hours, which I really appreciated.

  Disliked: The hotel has set reception hours, which can be annoying but isn’t a major issue. It’s worth letting them know your arrival time if you arrive outside the check-in hours. I would have liked a few more vegan options for breakfast.

  2 nights solo stay

  Liked: The property was in walking distance of the station. The room was very small but was ok for just me.

  Disliked: They gave me a really small and soft pillow, 2 pillows would have been nice on the bed.

  We liked it despite minor inconveniences

  Liked: The location was good with a supermarket next door and 10 min walk to the center. We had a family room with a large terrace, we enjoyed it especially in the evening. The room was a decent size. The breakfast was very good. The staff was nice.

  Disliked: The terrace in our room was a bit old with not so comfy furniture to sit outside. It could be better. We also had to park across the street (free of charge, but not so close) as we forgot to book their parking (it’s small and rather expensive).

  Small clean and friendly pension

  Liked: It was very clean, friendly staff, located closely to shops (food and clothes) and to the cable car, train and bus stations. Good starting location for hiking. Breakfast is also good, cozy atmosphere.

  Liked: Great location close to train station and shops. Helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast selection. Lovely crowd of friendly guests.
