  Quiet, elegant location, lovely views and good location

  Liked: It was quite and very elegant, the room was quite spacious and the breakfast served daily was plentiful. The staff at both the breakfast and evening were very professional and pleasant.

  Disliked: We were in a dormer room on the top floor, so we had quite a few stairs to negotiate - that was a minor drawback though. The window coverings were quite sheer which gave us privacy but didn’t keep the room dark enough from the yellow street lights outside. Rooms on the lower floors had shutters to block out the light - unfortunately we didn’t. I found the beds rather firm and requested some more pillows by email(the hotel staff have Sundays and Mondays off - I was reluctant to call the manager for such a small request) - we didnt get a response.

  A Perfect Stay in Bad Gastein

  Liked: Our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely delightful in every way! The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the views were stunning. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was perfect!

  Liked: Our room was huge and very charming. The beds were comfortable and the location was great.

  Disliked: There was no reception or option to check in until 5pm so we we weren't even sure where we could leave our suitcases until that time.
