Beautiful building in a stunning town at a reasonable cost

Liked: It was a stunning property in a beautiful town.

Disliked: The very small number of parking spaces available to guests. It was a challenge having to park in a nearby multi-storey car park with 2 small neurodiverse children. The hotels card reducing the parking fee didn’t work in the payment system resulting in a pricey parking fee.

Liked: The Herzoghof is in the best position of the renomated green Baden bei Wien: just opposite the main Park and forest & the Casino. Fine, comfortable, kind staff, very clean and for me a big plus- travelling with a small dog- really pet-friendly! I got a double room with a balcony and wooden floor, a coffee machine( to me essential in the morning!!), a small empty fridge ( perfect to keep my dog's food and medicines), a large bathroom with amenidades, and a large cupboard. The matrass is very comf, only the pillows are too soft for me.

Disliked: If I may give a small tip, I would better illuminate the room where the buffet is available( I thought of a short-cut at first impact...), and would enlarge a bit the warm food offer with some cooked vegetables (as only 3 kind of eggs plates are offered, besides sausages, which might not be acceptable by many intl guests) and more sweet/cakes.
