  Lovely hotel with helpful staff

  Liked: The hotel is just outside the main tourist zone and 100m back from the lake but it is a very practical location only a few minutes from the tourist area. Rooms are large and comfy and the road is not busy enough to cause any noise.

  Disliked: When I was there the restaurant only served breakfast so other meals had to be in town. Just a minor niggle on a rainy day.

  Would stay there again, we had 2 nights and was perfect

  Liked: Although the location was away from the main area we found this a bonus. No night noise. However you must get the train to the station past Hallstatt and get the bus from there to Hallstatt, otherwise you walk a long way over bumpy surfaces to get to the accommodation. Hostess and kitchen staff lovely and helpful.

  Disliked: We were lucky enough to get an upgrade, however this was on the 2nd floor, many stairs and my husband had a bad back so I was the one to lug our bags upstairs.

  A lovely comfortable room in a great location in awesome Hallstatt

  Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely for a boutique hotel. Location was just out of town so it was quiet but still close enough to walk easily. Apartment was large and comfortable with everything we needed.

  Disliked: Maybe a stronger bulb or different light shade for the main light. Nothing else needs changing.

  Good location but pricey

  Liked: Very convenient location. Close to P1 parking and the salt mines entrance. Good heat. Fresh eggs made on the spot. Rolls were fresh and tasty.

  Disliked: No fresh baked goods. Quite expensive. Would expect off season prices to go down. No one to ask questions-check in and out. WiFi didn’t work at all in our room

  Liked: Location- walking distance to bus station and furnicular to Salt mine. Kettle and mini fridge in the room. Good bfst
