Fabulous
A Dream Come True — An Unforgettable Stay in Hallstatt
Liked: Our two-night stay at Heritage Hotel Hallstatt was truly unforgettable. Visiting Hallstatt had been a dream of ours for many years, and this beautiful hotel made the experience even more special. Our room in the main building was wonderful, especially the private balcony overlooking Lake Hallstatt and the magnificent mountains. The breathtaking view was something we could never get tired of. The hotel itself was charming and full of character, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Before our visit, we thought of Hallstatt as a once-in-a-lifetime destination. But when it was time to leave, we felt genuinely sad to say goodbye. Two nights simply weren't enough! We will definitely return someday. Thank you for giving us such beautiful memories!
Disliked: Although our room in Haus Kainz had been confirmed in advance, we were told shortly before arrival that it was "subject to availability," which caused us some concern. Fortunately, the hotel staff promptly cleared up the misunderstanding and reconfirmed our room.
Liked: The room is big. We have a balcony with lake view which totally worth the stay.
Disliked: Staff at the front desk is quiet cold while the hotel restaurant is fine,

Disliked: The knob to changed from tap to shower wash is very tight and need to use strength and effort to twist the knob.
It was great and enjoy the stay

Disliked: Other pension or hotels are burning the wood and unable to open the window to enjoy the fresh air.

Please note that the center of Hallstatt is a car-free zone. You need to park your car on the P1 parking outside the town, which can be reached through a tunnel. Additional costs apply (please see Parking Facilities).
A shuttle service is provided for guests who park at and hold a valid ticket for P1 parking lot. It is free of charge and only available on arrival and departure.
Please note that it cannot be guaranteed in which of the 3 historic buildings you will be accommodated, because requests for a specific building are subject to availability. Haus Stocker and Haus Seethaler have no elevator. They are a 3- to 5-minute walk away from the main building, where the breakfast room and other facilities can be found.
Please note that smoking is strictly not allowed in guestrooms. A penalty fee of EUR 60 per incident will be charged.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
