  ‘No journey is ill if it comes to an end, except that of going to the gallows.’

  Liked: It’s in the center of everything

  Disliked: Communication with property is nonexistent. My view is that the locals are absolutely sick of tourists. The businesses will obliged you to a point, after that invisible line you are on your own.

  Liked: Hotel was clean, comfortable and smart throughout. Very nice view from our 3rd floor room and it was quiet at night. Breakfast had nice selection. Overall we really liked the hotel

  Disliked: No tea and coffee making facilities in room. We had similar experiences as noted by some of the previous negative reviews e.g. staff were mostly polite but not particularly friendly. On arrival they were accommodating coach parties in the restaurant and so staff were very stressed. Even as coach parties were leaving and tables were cleared we were told to come back in an hour if we wanted food. No flexilibility in slightly earlier check in. That's fine if that's their strict policy but in our experience most hotels of any size will allow early check-in if the room is ready, which they usually are by 1 or 2pm even if check in is 3pm

  Liked: great view great facilities absolutely phenomenal

  Disliked: staff at check in were a bit rude. although they had confirmed the day before we could leave our bags at reception, we waited around for 20 minutes and they told us we couldn’t so we had to pay 18 euros to leave our bags at a locker nearby

  Liked: Very clean and good location

  Disliked: 1. The lady that was working at the breakfast counter was rude with us. Raising her voice when asking for our room card till the whole dining room can hear it. Other guests in the dining room were staring at us as if we were not a guest and is trying to steal free breakfast. She can just ask us politely. 2. There was no refill of the food after it was finished during breakfast. We arrived quite early and the salmon slice was already finished. 3. Need to pay for hot water. No electric kettle in the room. 4. Ironing equipments not available. 5. No outside food or drinks allowed into the room
