  A Memorable Stay Above Expectations

  Liked: Our stay was simply impeccable and exceeded our expectations. Everything was exactly as described in the photos and information provided on Booking.com and the property's website. However, what no photograph can truly capture is the extraordinary beauty we were fortunate enough to experience firsthand. Waking up every morning to the breathtaking Kaprun valley, the majestic mountains, and the idyllic Schaufelberg location was a privilege. The scenery was nothing short of spectacular – breathing in the crisp, fresh mountain air while gazing at the impressive flanks of the Kitzsteinhorn and the surrounding peaks created a genuine “wow factor” that became part of our daily experience. The self-catering apartment was meticulously clean, exceptionally well-equipped, peaceful, and maintained a perfectly controlled heating environment. Every amenity and piece of furniture was functional, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was also ideal for our planned itinerary, allowing easy access to Zell am See, the magnificent Hohe Tauern National Park, and one of the highlights of our trip – the unforgettable journey along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.

  Disliked: Honestly, very little. If we had to mention one thing, it would simply be that our stay wasn't long enough to fully absorb and appreciate the beauty of this remarkable region. We would have gladly stayed for several more days. The weather did not treat us as completely as we expected, and thus we could not use the great and ideal swimming pool.

  Amazing place in Kaprun

  Liked: The location and the view over Kaprun and mountains are amazing. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. A nice furniture and a spacious dining room. We enjoined very much staying there for a week. The Hotel is 300m away from the ski piste. Our host was nice and friendly, very helpful when needed (even if we did't meet them in person).

  Disliked: We had a very stressful neighbor (lady) who would come knocking on our door every day and tell us that we were talking too loudly and that our children could be heard playing and laughing. Even though it was 6:00 PM or 10:00 PM, she was always at our door and also at the door of other neighbors, to make observations that she could hear us all. I should mention that we didn't have parties and we didn't have music, we just sat around the table in a civilized manner and talked. It seems that the walls are not very well insulated, although we didn't have a problem hearing children crying or people talking next to us. What can I say, bad luck for us:)

  Johann: 3 bathrooms but don't use them at the same time!

  Liked: Epic views, well equipped kitchen with a small bar. Friendly hosts and easy keycard pickup. We had a great experience spoiled by a large amount of small things

  Disliked: This review is about the penthouse apartment for many people. 1 door card for a 12 bed apartment is a challenge for sure. Why are there 3 bathrooms if there's not enough water pressure to use 2 of them at the same time? The toilet didn't flush with enough water and waste was floating on top so we had to flush 3-4 times with extra paper to get rid of it. Fire alarm went off after making breakfast with no reason. Waste separation guide would have been nice for non-austrian guests. There was not enough seats in the main area for all of us, chairs needed to be moved around even at occupancy of 9. Lighting and switches were confusing there were at least 8 light switches that didn't do anything and lighting was not well done. Some places too bright some places too dark. The pictures don't tell the whole story about all the beds. There are random beds in corridors and the living room loft. There's just 3 bedrooms, 2 of them having bunk beds and double. There should be more places to hang ski clothes instead of wardrobes. Barely enough space for that with the occupancy of 9, let alone full.

  Liked: The location was great, first ski slope were just meters away, the appartement was good but few things could be improved such as the kitchen equipment, it was a bit limit for 7 persons

  Disliked: When we arrived, we had only the key of the appartement that was in a key box. The badge giving access to the sauna and the ski local was missing, and we had to get it ourselves to the office which was in the village.

  Prefect stay in a great location with a lovely view

  Liked: The room near the pool was the highlight. Was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. The owners responded to requests quickly.
