  What a brilliant hotel! Not rated 11th best hotel in the world for nothing

  Liked: A remarkable hotel in every respect. Room was wonderful. Spacious and very comfortable with a mountain view of the Dachstein to die for. Half board dinners and breakfasts were outstanding. To experience the infinity pool after hiking exertions was sublime. We were attracted by the fact that it was awarded 11th best hotel in the world and it delivered in spades! The bar was amazing and we were surprised it wasn’t busier. Staff were so friendly and helpful. A special mention to Monika. It is rare to find someone so dedicated to her role, so hard working and so caring. An absolute delight! Only a short drive to the Planai and the Dachsteingletscher cable car.

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay last weekend at Hotel Schütterhof. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. One of the highlights was definitely the spa area. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, making it a truly relaxing and memorable experience. Another big advantage is the hotel’s perfect location right next to the ski area. My partner and I were able to go snowboarding with just a two minute walk from the hotel, which made the whole experience incredibly convenient and fun. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality getaway with amazing mountain views and direct access to skiing.
