  Liked: We recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. When you enter, the lobby area is nice. And that’s about it. The room we stayed in was dated and the carpet was full of stains. In a 4 star hotel the standards for cleanliness should be higher. We had the most unpleasant experience for 2 days at breakfast. We walked in the restaurant and waited to be seated. The majority of tables were nicely done. The hostess had a hard time locating our name on the guests lists and when she was able to confirm we had the breakfast included in our stay she led us to a table that needed to be done. Ok, no big deal we thought. It’s the 1st day and they were not prepared for us. But unfortunately this happened again on the 2nd day. No table ready for us! We felt treated like 2nd class citizens. We are well travelled and this is by far one of the most disappointing stay we ever had. Not a single time we heard an apology.

  Liked: Lovely location and great views from the pool terrace. We upgraded to a lake side suite, which was lovely. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Spa was superb, sauna, steam room and lovely pool. Breakfast buffet very good too. Was disappointed that the rooms were somewhat old fashioned. They had no air-conditing or even a fan. Bathroom was small with seperate toilet. Plastic glasses and cups, not what i would expect of a hotel of this standard.
