  Liked: The location and the room

  Disliked: Unfortunately, the attitude and communication from the staff were disappointing. There seemed to be frequent misunderstandings, and whenever we tried to explain something, the response was sometimes unnecessarily aggressive before fully understanding what we meant. For example, at check-out, I was busy outside, so I contacted the staff and explained that my wife would check out and that we would need to leave our bags in the corridor for only 30 minutes to an hour at most. Instead of calmly discussing this with her, the staff member responded rudely and raised his voice, saying that this was not acceptable. However, when I arrived shortly afterward, his attitude toward me was completely different. He told me, “Everything is okay, brother. I waited an extra hour for you,” offered us breakfast, and then asked me to give him a high rating. I appreciate the flexibility and the breakfast, but hospitality is not only about providing services or favors. The way guests are spoken to and treated is equally important. A welcoming attitude, respectful communication, and professionalism are some of the most important things you can offer your guests. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as better communication and a more respectful approach would make a significant difference to the overall guest experience.

  Liked: Very nice cozy hotel, bed was so comfortable, the room is nicely decorated, a lot of space, overall - loved this hotel and will definitely come back!

  Nice stay in Zell am See

  Liked: …Sofia at the reception was very helpful with detailed information about the local transportation and the free train tickets for guests staying at the hotel. …Breakfast was rich and delicious. Everyone is assigned toz specific table which has to be used during the entire stay. You don’t have to wait or look for finding a table. Rooms are clean and big enough to hang your clothes. …Free parking space is available. …We spent most of our entire day in going to Salzburg by train for a concert and then returned to Zell am See in the late afternoon/evening. Therefore we could not see much of the rest of the hotel like the pool or spa.

  Disliked: … The only criticism would be the housekeeping policy of the hotel which allows the rooms to be cleaned every next day. This is very inconvenient for those who stay for two nights. Hopefully, Sofia at the reception asked ghe cleaning staff to change our towels and to clean the bathroom at 19:30 upon my kind request. As such, she saved many points for the hotel in this review.

  To sum it up - it was baaaaad experience not recommended at all

  Liked: Only the location

  Disliked: Not much parking area, you need sometimes to look for a lot of time for that. There is 2 buildings!!! And if u stay in the the 2nd ( not the main ) there is no reception or lobby or anything and you need to cross the street to got to the facilities - not convenient at all for children they cant cross by themselves or an rainy days. After 22:00 there is no reception service, we got late in our first time and we need the service for a kettle to boil water for our infant and we didnt find any response!!!! Thats soooo unacceptable to not have any service at night including emergencies… The staff were ok but it was weird to take 3 euro for iron service per piece of clothes… The rooms smell bad and alot of insects got to the room when opening the windows to just breath with no condition… To sum it up - it was baaaaad experience not recommended at all
