  Comfortable getaway

  Liked: Spacious, clean and had everything we required for a pleasant stay

  Disliked: Whilst Bri g really close to the railway station (bonus) the area wasn’t great. However the accomodation was very safe and secure.

  Found out double booked when we arrived

  Liked: We never got to see the apartment only the lockbox on the street which was fairly near the station.

  Disliked: The apartment was double booked. We were sent an email at 11am on the day of arrival which I did not see the email before arriving at the property at 1pm due to being on a train travelling to the property. We had booked more than 6 months in advance. When we found no keys in the lockbox (we had been sent the code) I phoned the owner who apologised but did not offer much help at all, just left us to find somewhere else to stay at our own expense!! I even had to sort out the refund myself when I got home.

  The apartment itself is great and VERY convenient for the Eurostar. The immediate environs are a little run down

  Lovely flat

  Liked: Really lovely flat, we really enjoyed it. The kitchen was well equiped to cook and we spent one night watching TV after a lot of exploring. Next to the train station too so easy access to the airport, or day trips to Ghent and Bruges.

  Disliked: Wasn't a great deal around but the centre was only a 20 minute walk, and you could access the train station for small things. Sadly there was no washing machine, but we found a place nearby.
