Liked: The location was very convenient, the room was comfortable, and the pool was crowded, but nice.

Disliked: They do not provide enough coffee or tea in the rooms and the tea comes in these terrible PLASTIC teabags.

Can honestly recommend this hotel to others

Liked: The room was very large and good location.

Disliked: The Decor was too dark and hard to navigate around the hotel due to all the mirrored panels on the walls, ceilings lifts etc. several guests commented on this. The lift system was Cumbersome and at times difficult to navigate. The electronics in the room were at times confusing and our television didn’t work. I spoke to them twice. Not enough towels, robes, glasses etc provided and the breakfast was very disappointing. The hot breakfast was cold and undercooked. Ie eggs. Food in the bar was also poor. Service was very slow.

Not something out of the ordinary

    Liked: Nice Location.

Disliked: A medium range hotel with no reason to go there for a second time. No services are offered from the hotel itself. Everything is subcontracted to other companies, which makes it basically impossible to even order room service (different numbers) or to dine to the restaurant or visit the spa (you actually and literally need to search in google for the phone number or website in order to find details for the booking). The personnel does not even know the existence of these things.

Liked: More than a hotel than I’d usually book for myself but I felt I got my money’s worth. I thought the €26/32 breakfast sounded expensive but I’d heard good things about it. They were kind enough to let me have the deal price to try (had to reserve the night before)and I wasn’t disappointed. Great selection of hot and cold options as well as pastries and bread. Quite incredible how the quality was sustained despite the volume of guests. I happily had it for the next two days. Rooms are nice but the electronic controls take a bit of getting used to. Better gym than I expected. Didn’t try the indoor pool but it looked good (for relaxing though not fitness). View from the roof terrace was amazing. Location is excellent for city centre. It’s a comfortably short walk down the hill from Brussels north station - even with luggage - and Rogier metro is less than 50m from the hotel entrance. Staff were attentive and very friendly. More Telly options than most similar price hotels I’ve tried - if that’s important to you.

Disliked: Late check out (12.00pm) means late check in (not before 3.00pm) which might inconvenience some. I arrived early but they had the usual facility for leaving luggage so I ditched my bags and went out to explore. The only thing I found a bit disappointing was the quality of food in their casual dining (Doodles?) - I heard a whisper that they had a new chef who was still learning the menu … the memory of the €19/16soggy Cuban sandwich and even soggier pulled pork waffle will - unfortunately- stay with me for a while. Mentioned the tricky room controls - I got the hang of the electric blinds but never really managed to get the climate controls sussed. CBA calling housekeeping anc was easy enough to put on another layer.
