Very good
Well worth a stopover
Liked: Great location. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Never enough hooks. Firm bed. 500 m cobble walk to car park.
I would go there again, clean, location top and good value
Liked: Location is TOP. Everything we wanted to visit was max 15 minute walk. Many shops and restaurants around. Decor is very quirky I really like it. But what made the stay are people who work there who answered every question we had and went above and beyond to accomodate all our needs (thank you for the coffee pods when bar was closed!). The price was decent and breakfast is nice, if you eat a lot (then worth your money), otherwise just buy a croissant and yoghurt and you save some cash.
Disliked: Room could have been less dark, bathroom could be newer
Good hotel, bit too expensive for what they offer at a wonderful location
Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Slow process of checking in and out.
Lovely hotel in fantastic location
Liked: Fantastic location. Lovely rooms. Fantastic decor. Helpful staff.
A memorable warm hotel close to one of the most beautiful squares in Europe
Liked: The hotel is quirky in a good way - it has character! It is super-central, just a couple of minutes walk from Grand Place, in a lovely area. If you want to use the underground, a station is only 2-3 mins away. The breakfast is good and has all the items you would expect to find. We also had a small booking issue, which was entirely our fault, and the staff offered a good compromise solution, even though they really didn't have to. That was much appreciated.
Disliked: Although there are coffee pods in the room, the actual coffee machine is down by the lobby (or down one floor, but that was out of order). Having a coffee maker in the room would have been nice. We also had a bit of misbehaviours from the keycard but the staff sorted it out after some time. But all little things.
What a disaster 🤦🏻♂️
Liked: It was very central
Disliked: It is full of bed bugs and very dirty. There was a very strong smell probably from the fumigation ( we thought it was smoke from cigar when we checked in), in two of the family apartments that we know. Notice that the family apartments are across the street of the main building and it has 40 narrow stairs until the elevator and then 20 more to the apartment, the steepest steps I have ever seen. We had to carry three strollers and all the luggage. It was a nightmare. The reception didn’t offer any solution just free cancellation for the remaining nights. Please do a favor to yourself and don’t book. There are more reports for bed bugs in google but unfortunately we hadn’t read before we book.
