Liked: I liked everything about this hotel

Liked: Very clean, comfortable bed, 5 minute walk to main square
Disliked: There is a nearby church that had bells ringing every half hour from 8am. Obviously not the hotels fault but something to keep in mind if you are a late sleeper
Liked: Breakfast is personally served, and personnel was super friendly and kind.
Disliked: As this is a 1930s building, there was no elevator, and the stairs were narrow. It is quite difficult to carry a suitcase.
Exceptional, looking forward to returning
Liked: It is a beautiful, historic property that radiates character. The proprietors are a wonderful, friendly couple that are very helpful.
Unique experience in art deco hotel
Liked: We booked for the architecture and decor and were not disappointed
Disliked: The stairs were steep as is not uncommon in Belgium
Friendly authentic Art Deco bar with really great beer
Liked: What a gem of a place, we had drinks and nibbles here a couple of times during a short stay in Brussels. Welcoming owners and staff, cool stylish Art Deco interior and furnishings, and really great beer - we recommend a glass of Filou (a lethal Tripel at 8.5% which doesn't taste like it...). Just try not to have too many! they also have rooms, which had we known beforehand we would have stayed in instead of booking a more corporate hotel up the street.
