Beautiful hotel
Liked: Beautiful property, love the garden area upstairs
Friendly staff. Good location
Liked: The location was great. Just a couple of mins walk from metro and only 3 stops from midi train station. The room was spacious. Comfortable bed. Mini fridge with water. The sign of a good hotel is not that they don’t have the odd problem but more how they deal with it. We ended up with a room with a shower over bath and we needed a walk-in shower. They dealt with the problem very well.
Disliked: The first room had not been cleaned very well as there was a rotten apple on the floor by the furniture. The price of breakfast was ridiculous. 26€!! We didn’t have it so can’t comment.
Decent but not impressed
Liked: Good location, generally clean room and decent room facilities. Good bar and nice drinks.
Disliked: The air conditioning did not really worked. We contacted the staff to get it sorted, they visited while we were out, however the problem was not resolved at all. The AC was still malfunctioning and it was extremely cold. During check out, the staff was not so friendly. I asked for my receipt and she was like continuously complaining, saying that you didn’t ask for it before. I was confused even I said I didn’t need it, can’t I change my mind? Just do it, so many words
Disliked: As a 5-star establishment, your hotel markets itself on flawless luxury and premium hospitality. Unfortunately, the experience of our stay fell entirely short of these standards. Despite checking in at 12.00 (we were told the rooms would be ready at 15.00), we received access to the first room at 16.00 and the other one at 21.00 (we left for dinner at 18.30 and hadn't received access at that time). We were told at 16.00 that the other room was almost ready, at 17.40 that it would be another 5 min. for the other room, at 18.00 another 20 min. for the room. No compensation other than a shrug shouldered - nonchalant "sorry" and after asking for some kind of compensation 3 vouchers for 1 soft drink in the mini bar. Very classy! We paid roughly 500 eur for one night for two rooms at a 5 star hotel and received a 1 star treatment.
