Good
Liked: Location was great.
Disliked: No elevator and tight stairs to third floor.
Beautiful apartment in Brussels north
Liked: The apartment was very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary tools and equipment (e.g., fridge, oven), the bathroom was big and overall a great apartment.
Disliked: It was on the third floor with no elevator and very tiny stairs.

Liked: We stayed at Smart Appart City in Brussels and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, largely because of the lack of support from Nathalie, who was our point of contact throughout our stay. Before travelling, we checked the property's location on Google Maps and Street View so we would know where to go. The day before our arrival, Nathalie sent us the address, but it was different from the one listed on Booking.com. When we arrived, I explained the discrepancy to Nathalie several times because Booking.com was directing guests to a completely different location on the map. She insisted it was simply the Flemish version of the address, but this was not true. The map location was entirely different. I even asked Nathalie for an email address so I could send screenshots showing the issue, but she never responded. This is something that urgently needs to be corrected, as it could easily cause future guests unnecessary stress and confusion. The correct address is Koopliedenstraat 33, Studio 3, 1000 Brussels, Belgium. I also asked Nathalie if it was possible to have one extra pillow, as there were only two on the bed and I needed another for back support. She simply told me there were no spare pillows available. A much more serious issue arose during our stay. Every afternoon from around 4:00 pm until well after midnight, groups of women gathered directly outside the entrance to the building. They regularly sat on the front steps, blocking access to the entrance, attracted numerous men and vehicles, and we repeatedly found used condom wrappers and cigarettes left on the doorstep. After monitoring the situation for several days, I contacted Nathalie because we genuinely felt unsafe entering and leaving the property. I repeatedly asked her to contact the police, but instead of taking our concerns seriously, Nathalie continued asking whether the women had entered the building and questioned their exact location.

DO NOT STAY HERE - BED BUGS
Disliked: Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here. We found bed bugs in one of the beds and another on my hat after checking out. The downstairs also had a strong damp smell, and the bathroom was covered in mould, including the shower head. The bed bugs caused a huge inconvenience for all four of us, as we had to inspect all of our belongings and wash everything to avoid bringing them home. Despite reporting the issue before checking out, the handling of the complaint was disappointing. Overall, a very upsetting experience that significantly impacted our trip.
Great value for money and would definitely consider returning in the future if we revisit Brussels
Liked: Property was clean and in a great location - perfect for a one night stay in Brussels.
Disliked: Location was not clear at all. Booking.com listed location is different to actual location of the booking with a 40 minute travel distance between the two. When trying to contact the host sent to voicemail. Initially thought we had been scammed into staying in a very run down area of Brussels. Then we were sent a cryptic link to the real location via message, travelled the 40 minutes to the new location, saw the local ladies mentioned in other reviews and knew we were actually in the right place.
The accommodation is suitable for short stays and guests with basic expectations
Liked: super location
Disliked: It is a street where prostitutes are known to work; however, this did not have any significant impact on our stay.
