Excellent choice!
Liked: The check-in experience was friendly and seamless. The common areas are thoughtfully designed and well-equipped. A nice touch is the access to a wide variety of beverages — hot drinks, cold drinks, soft drinks, and more — all at reasonable prices. Families with children will feel right at home, as kids are warmly welcomed. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with quiet areas. The quality of the bedding, towels, and shower facilities ranges from good to excellent. Free parking is also available on-site. I do recommend to reserve. Mike is excellent hoster.
Disliked: Nothing was a problem!:-) The breakfast is delicious, though it leans toward a French style. It would be even better if scrambled eggs were available every day — unfortunately, I could only enjoy them on 1 out of 3 mornings due to limited availability. The hotel is a 2–3 km walk from the old city, which can be inconvenient — especially in rainy weather. One minor drawback in our room was the sliding door on the toilet, which offered less privacy than a standard door.
