Fabulous
Cosy and relaxing forest stay, close to beautiful Durbuy. Loved our visit!
Liked: The property was a cosy, relaxing and comfortable lodge stay in the stunning UNESCO area of Wallonia. The forest setting of the park was beautiful (and well maintained during the week by park staff) with the lodge set back and away from the main highway. The onsite pool, restaurant and playground were an easy short walk away from the cabin and all next to each other with very nice, helpful and friendly restaurant staff. There was ample linen provided, with a cooking stove and microwave too, we even received a washing care package for the kitchen which was a small but really helpful gesture when you're travelling for a long time. The downstairs living space was spacious enough for luggage, there's was a safety gate for the stairs up top which was excellent peace of mind too, and the lodge overall was private between park cabins, a very clever designed park overall. We travelled during a heat wave but the forest setting kept the cabin shaded all day and not too hot on return. The five minute drive to Durbuy was perfect for a quick sightseeing stop while offering an excellent location to the overall region by car (we didn't get a chance to walk but I believe there are forest trails from the park site, with the reception staff always happy and available to help with tips and maps). We'd happily return as it was the best place we'd booked on our travels across Belgium, the lodge and Wallonia in general were just beautiful!
Disliked: The holiday park pool was indoor and heated which wasn't ideal in a heatwave but still more than many other regional places offered, also not a cabin issue as such.

Disliked: There was not enough kitchen paper or kitchen towels so when we were washing the dishes it was a bit hard to dry them. We had only also 2 coffee capsules which would be great to have more as we were 4 ppl.

Liked: Cozy cabin with everything you need. Great facilities for families with kids. Close to the town.
Disliked: Late check in because the cabin wasn't ready
Very and calming holiday by the nature
Liked: Beautiful and comfortable chalet, nicely decorated, in and out. Many useful facilities included, such as cleaning products, cooking utensils and outdoor toys. A crib was provided for our 11-month-old baby. The terrace had a nice and calming view to the trees. There's a small feeding place for the birds in the terrace, and you often see the birds flying to eat, which gives a magical feeling.
Disliked: The stairs to the sleeping rooms were a bit steep, and one needed to pay attention. Also, the only utensil we missed was a dish drainer rack.
