  Loved the holiday park but would stay in different chalet

  Liked: Location and pool were perfect for our little trip away. Kids loved the whole place and setting in the woods lovely!

  Disliked: It was very hot and there really should be a fan. It was unbearable at 28 degrees in the chalet. Loved setting but all the little trimmings need a tidy up, like table outside one end sticks up, the electrical cupboard outside doesn’t shut with wires coming out, the edging on toilet door and kitchen floor coming off, railing on stairs loose. But really it was the heat, a fan would cost very little and make a big difference in these heat waves.

  I originally booked a different property at the same site but it was cancelled two weeks before we were due to go and fe

  Liked: Bathroom and toilet were clean and well presented and seemed to have been well maintained. Hot water all of the time and a good shower

  Disliked: There was no oven in the kitchen just a hob and microwave. You had to make your own beds. The bed linen was very clean but pillows, duvets and mattresses need to be updated. A few mornings were cold and the heaters didn’t work. Quite a lot cobwebs and generally needed repainting.

  Liked: The restaurant, the location, the house looked great and was clean

  Disliked: The boiler did not always start, so the shower was cold for a long time. Had to turn on the faucet in the kitchen for the water to turn warm.

  Liked: Middle of the forest, quiet, nice pool, football pitch, and all other things you'd wish for with your kids.

  Disliked: Cottage itself was a bit old,steep stairs a bit dangerous for our 5 year old, you have to do everything by car
