    Great family stay

Liked: The cabin cosy was nicely decorated and a lovely terrace to enjoy the evening. Location of the cabin made it feel very private. It was a great location to visit Durbuy and the adventure valley. Onsite pool was also good to have. Our family of 5 had a brilliant stay and would recommend.

Disliked: Towels would have been nice to be included, maybe even just a tea towel for drying dishes.

Great stay, just don’t be 2 meters tall and/or drive a Dodge Ram

Liked: Even though there are many houses there, it still feels very private. The cabin is small but you are used to that within a day and then it feels cosy. The furniture is comfortable and decor is tastefully done. The fan in the bedroom was greatly appreciated during the hot nights.

Disliked: The cabin is small, but so is the kitchen. Cooking and doing dishes are very cramped and that means it’s a one man/woman job! Since it is a wooden cabin everything is a little slanted. Doors stick and the stairs are a bit hard to navigate if you are a bit larger. All minor things that you get used to within a day, so no real complaints. Only real complaint and it’s biggest issue is the parking space at the top. It is tiny and fits three cars if everybody parks perfectly, which they don’t. You can’t turn there so you’ll have to drive backwards down the hill path to find a spot lower down. If you don’t have a giant car this wont be a real issue I believe.

Cozy chalet in a vacation park with great views of the forest

Liked: Location is amazing, the terrace is very spacious and it has a great view. The surroundings are very quiet and you can rest properly. The living room is cozy and dining area and kitchen are well equipped. There is a wide selection of DVDs left by the owners and many toys for kids. Overall we had an enjoyable experience.

Disliked: The stairway to the first floor is very steep and narrow, challenging with small kids. The extra room (pictured as third) is a bed in the space between the other two bedrooms and has direct access to the stairs (no door). Not really suitable for a kid's bedroom (advertised as 5 person accommodation). The wifi was not working properly, we did not have a good connection. The aspect we did not expect was that we had to clean the chalet - not only making the beds and tidying up which is common sense, but also vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom and bringing the duvets to the reception. This could have been specified in the property policies, and it was not. This took some extra time from our vacation and the property claimed to inquire additional fees otherwise. We are happy to tidy up the place after the stay, but a more detailed clean could be arranged by the property.
