Fabulous
Excellent location, excellent host, excellent property
Liked: This is the second time that we have stayed with friends at Le Savoire. We all agree that this is one of the best places to stay in Namur and is extremely convent for exploring Wallonia, Luxembourg, Maastricht and Aachen. It's well-appointed and has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. There is plenty of room for everyone to have space (and to also gather together) with enough bedrooms and bathrooms to keep everyone happy, the bedding and towels all being good quality. The kitchen has everything needed for putting together quick meals or a feast, plenty of cookware, crockery etc. The property is convenient for both the city itself and the station (which is a round about 15-20 minute walk). All the bars and restaurants are located just across the river around 5-10 minutes walk. The local shops and supermarket are around a 5-10 minute walk. It's all very walkable, with an added advantage that the property is tucked into a predominately residential area.
Disliked: There's not much to say here. We enjoyed our stays without any question and have been exceptionally pleased with the property.
Excellent city apartment
Liked: Good family area and nice assortment of bedrooms with plenty of washing facilities. The garden was also a great addition. We could easily walk to the city centre too.
Disliked: Only parking for one car at the apartment but the owner told us other places to park that were very close by.
A superb apartment for a Wollonian getaway
Liked: The apartment was rather bigger than we were expecting from the photos. As the Fêtes de Wallonie was in full swing, we were grateful that the apartment is away from the city centre, yet only an easy 15-minute walk to the station. The kitchen is very well equipped, so if you want to cook it has everything you will need.
