Fabulous
Liked: Location is perfect and the view is amazing. Good instructions were provided by the host for the key pickup and drop-off. A bottle of bubbles was left in the fridge what was nice. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a good dishwasher. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby what is great.
Disliked: The apartment is a bit dated and in our opinion overrated. Furniture is quite worn out. Pillows are old, they are big, thick and some are stained. You have to bring your own bed sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases and towels so the first and the last day of your stay is hard work doing the beddings and cleaning the place. Cleaning is not included in the price so you have to do it yourself on the last day or pay extra for cleaning. Parking is 20 euro a day and not included in the price. While the additional charges are not clearly outlined the booking is non-refundable, so you cannot even cancel the booking if you are unhappy with the conditions and additional charges.
Comfortable and convenient base to explore Ostend and Bruges. Would definitely use again
Liked: Bernard was very friendly and met us at the property to arrange car parking. The property was as shown in the photographs and was clean. The heating had been put on ahead of our arrival so the property was nice and warm
Disliked: Had to use cash to pay the warranty. Not a problem as there are cash points close by, but we don`t tend to carry cash anymore

Disliked: Bed quality was very poor. Building is not isolated and thus very noisy. Decoration is "oldish". overall price/quality is not good.
The location is great, but I would not stop here one more time
Liked: - location - view from the window - beds, pillows, duvets are okay
Disliked: - too many hidden costs (cleaning fee, bed linen). And you pay for the cleaning at check-in even if you say that you will clean by yourself. When check-out, you normally get back 40euro for cleaning + 120 of guarantee. But in our case I was told that the cleaning woman is busy and she will check the room later and if all good, I will be refunded 160 Euro. It was not normal for me to leave the appartments without getting my money back...And just after asking for several times to check it now and give my money back now, at check-out, they did it. - it was the first time I was asked to show my credit card (like to 'prove' that the payment was taken exactly from my card). That's weird and has no reason.
