Exceptional
Liked: It’s close proximity from the train station, restaurants and beach. The room was very clean and well organised. The receptionist was also very kind to me.
A great choice
Liked: Great breakfast, good quality, plenty to chose from. Good sized room, good bathroom, large walk in shower, excellent bar adjacent to hotel with 300 beers! good secure parking but make sure that you book well ahead (only 4 spaces). Very good location close to beach, harbour and casino.
Disliked: Had to climb a short twisting staircase to get to the room.
Family run hotel in a good location at a good price
Liked: Location very good. Louisastraat is narrow leading up to the shore & down to the square. Breakfast was good, as was the adjacent bar/cafe with 300 beers (apparently!).
Disliked: All fine.
Very nice, if we go back to Oostende, we certainly plan to go back to this hotel
Liked: The location, in a relatively quiet street in center of town, provides short walking distance access to the beach, the shopping center, the Kursaal, and the peer. The breakfast was excellent, and the food in the restaurant really nice. And if you like beer there are 300+ different beers to choose from.
Disliked: The room was spacious, but somewhat noisy. The neighbours upstairs started their working day at 06:00 or so, and the noise of their footsteps sounded clearly in our room. The room was also fairly warm, and opening the window was not really an option because of the running aircos and fans outside.
Supernice!
Liked: Lovely, family run little hotel.Friendly staff who also found time to have a little chat. Perfect location close to the beach Spacious, nice and cosy room. Very comfortable beds. Good bathroom with an astonishingly big shower. Free bier in the fridge was a wonderful surprise. No water kettle in the room but it was possible to borrow one. Overall this hotel was beyond my expectations, would certainly come back!
Disliked: I liked everything,. It's just good to know that the lift is pretty small. So if you have very big luggage, get ready to use the stairs. Little suggestion: it would be great to have a mirror also somewhere in the room (the only one was in the bathroom).
Large comfortable room with great breakfast and garage for cycle storage
Liked: Nice hotel in the centre of Ostend, large comfortable room, garage for storing cycles safely always a big plus, breakfast was very nice and the complementary beer in the fridge was very welcome after a long days cycle
Disliked: when we stayed Wednesday the attached bar was close, my fault for not checking would loved to have tried a few more beers
