Exceptional
Liked: The parking was very convenient. The location was good.
Disliked: We stayed here twice on our travels. The first time the washer did not work and just had a not on it not to use it. I had to contact the owner to ask about it and was told a part had been ordered but would not be in until later. Part of the reason I chose this place was to be able to do our laundry. The second time we stayed I asked before arriving if it was fixed and they said no and that the part ordered was the wrong one. So, again we could not do our laundry. There were 12 days between our 2 stays. I feel they should have fixed it by then or least let us know ahead of time.
Cute apartment in an excellent location and access to free parking
Liked: We stayed at this cozy apartment for 6 nights right next to Leopold Park. The perfect location to reach everything you need (shops, restaurants, and supermarket) and a short walk to the beach. Private parking with a separate garage just across the street is a big help as parking in the area is not easy. The apartment was even decorated for Halloween which made it even more homely. The communication with the owners was quick and without trouble. Our check in was easy as everything was described to us prior to our arrival and checking in went smoothly. We had access to enough toilet paper, soap, dish soap, and dishwasher tabs so we didn't need to buy anything. Netflix was also available for a quiet evening or rainy afternoon when we didn't go out.
Disliked: The washer wasn't working so a quick info regarding this in advance would have been helpful as we didn't pack enough to last us 6 days. The owners, however, provided us with an acceptable solution so that we were able to wash our clothes once during our stay. The pans were scratched and battered. It looks like past guests didn't use the cooking utensils appropriately, which is a shame. Our initial plan to cook was changed and we ate out more.
Beautifull Appartment in Oostende
Liked: A very nice, clean and modern accommodation. We would always want to rent this again for a trip to Ostend. Also the landlords who were always available for questions are reliable and helpful. You can easily reach everything in Ostend on foot and have no parking problems due to the parking space in the underground garage. It could not have been more optimal. Thank you for letting us be your guests.
