Exceptional
Super clean facility in excellent location, it is a guest house not a full service hotel
Liked: Excellent location and very thoughtful rooms, super clean, very comfortable. This is an awesome place to stay in Dubrovnik. Super central, walkable to everything. Beautiful historic touches in the room but modern comfort and wonderful bathrooms. Comfortable beds, super quiet despite being in the middle of things and one of the cleanest places I've stayed in. It was really lovely. Also love that nifty luggage elevator! It was a great stay.
Disliked: The place is awesome and it is absolutely as advertised as a guest house. It is five stars all around. But - My flight was delayed so I arrived at 8pm which wasn't incredibly late. I sent a message through the booking.com platform (the only way to contact that I could find) to give a heads up several hours prior about my arrival but there was no one to greet me, no information provided on how to get in the building, etc. We had other family that had arrived earlier on a red eye and thankfully they had not fallen asleep yet and were able to come out and let me in. There was a phone number on the door but I didn't see it arriving at night. We stayed 2 nights and I didn't see a staff member one single time despite coming and going throughout the days and evenings so just a heads up that it is not a full service hotel, nor is it advertised to be. It is a wonderful guest house but it would have been nice to have some communication at check in is the only recommendation.
Fantastic stay in Dubrovnik!
Liked: Beautiful, clean rooms, comfortable, quiet, and easy access if you can do stairs.
Disliked: Sometimes we were unsure of how to contact management.
Clean, modern but with some design flaws
Liked: Clean, modern and beautifully maintained room in Dubrovnik! Wonderful location. Free ice wine. Very quiet for being in the old town!
Disliked: The rooms have an odd design. It’s really one big room with a bathroom and bedroom separated by a partition of glass and cabinets. That means there is little to no privacy in the bathroom. And also, if someone turns the bathroom lights on in the middle of the night it lights up the whole room. There was only one tiny trashcan for the whole room. The espresso maker and fridge are in the bathroom. Very weird.
Beautiful small hotel in centre of Old City
Liked: The location was perfect, down a narrow street just off the main pedestrianised area. It wasn't noisy but was so central to everything. The rooms were lovely, with robes and good quality towels.
Disliked: I suppose for some people not having a lift would be a disadvantage but it kept us fit, though we were sick of stairs by the end of our trip!
