Fabulous
Liked: Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent — right next to the beach and close to a shop. The city centre was only a maximum 20-minute walk away, with beautiful views along the way. The host was very kind and thoughtful, even checking in with us the day after our arrival to make sure everything was okay. We felt very welcome and had a great stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dubrovnik!

Liked: There were only two things that I thought you were good - on site parking and short walk (1.6km) to old town. There was a washing machine.
Disliked: My comments relate to the studio accommodation. The rooms were never meant to be used as accommodation. They are converted garages with no ventilation. There was black mould growing on the wall.Your bed is literally three metres from traffic so you have to keep door shut or you think you are sleeping on the road. They gave you 1 plate, 2 forks, 1 knife, no bowls, 2 cups. There was nowhere to wash your cups or any detergent. The linen was old and the mattress hard. The quilt did not have a washable cover and that is against hygiene rules for hospitality, When I told the manager I was unhappy and would prefer a refunded he declined.

Totally unsatisfactory: Had to leave after one night

Disliked: DO NOT BOOK THE DOUBLE ROOM WITH TERRACE! It's clearly just a converted garage which opens directly onto a busy road with lots of cars going by at all times of the day. When we arrived, we were told to wait until our room was ready, but that we could leave our luggage inside while we do so. When we finally came back and checked in, however, we found that the apartment door had been left unlocked with all our luggage and valuables inside. This is not at all secure and it was a red flag from the very beginning. The room itself is dingy and feels like a basement. The bed sheets were old and pilled, which did not feel comfortable. The hygiene was also not the best, with other people's hair on the floor. The bathroom was okay and the shower a good size, but the washing machine in the bathroom did not work and gave off a slight smell. In addition, the TV did not seem to work and the amenities provided were minimal. The terrace that the place is advertised with is not attached to the room, as it is around the corner outside of the owner's house instead. The chair cushions in the terrace were also stained. We had to check out early after just one night, because the constant road noise was incredibly distracting. The next day, we also saw that the room next door had its window smashed, which also added to the feeling of being unsafe. I recommend everyone to stay well away from this place and book elsewhere for a stay in Dubrovnik, because there are plenty of much better options for the same price range.
