Disliked: The location is Dubrovnik and it is a very nice town but for anyone with a lot of luggage you need to carry it up many stairs. In the property info it says you should call before you get there but he often does not pick up. He was sleeping when we came in the evening and was very grumpy and loud mouthed. He made us wait outside while he made the room ready. The place smelled old and the bedroom wasn't good either. The bed was laid with old smelly bedsheets and the kitchen was a tiny cupboard with a sink behind the door to the hallway. The bathroom was the only thing that looked ok but the tiles were worn and ugly. The morning after he was very hard to talk with. He was very stubborn and started arguing with us about how we were able to book the room the same day as the other guests left. Just so you know he wakes up guests who are supposed to leave at 9 or 10 in the morning by knocking on the door repeatedly until they answer him. We tried arguing with him that it is not our job and he should not be arguing with us about his dealings with booking.com, nor should he be arguing with us if we did not know how to use the shower or the little hot tub. He was so hard headed that he insulted my partner and that was enough for us to want to leave. We were gonna stay for two nights but that got ended efter this bad encounter. He did not want to let us leave yet and wanted to argue more and we said we would call the police on him if he does not let us go. Then he asked for our passports to double check our booking and he snatched them out of our hands, ran into his room and locked the door. That's when we really called the police. I do not recommend anyone visiting this place EVER.
