  Liked: Really good place to stay. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Good TV programming and a nice heating/cooing system. This city is an amazing place, and I've got my money's worth.

  Excellent!

  Liked: Beautifully maintained property in the heart of Old Town. Had everything we needed for a great stay. Managers were in touch to make sure everything was to our liking and made themselves available for any questions. Yes, there are stairs, but that’s what staying in Old Town is all about!!

  The view was worth the climb

  Liked: I stayed in the room on top floor (the one with the blue rafters) and I loved it. I choose Guesthouse Rustico and this room because of the views and they were amazing. I loved lying in the comfy bed with both windows, open feeling the cross breeze. The history of the building makes it even more special.

  Disliked: The hosts are very honest about the stairs in the description of the accommodation and the instructions on how to find the property. I counted 94 to get from the main street up to the Guesthouse, and there are another 43 to get to the top floor room. The stairs up to the room are very steep and I was grateful that the cleaner was there when I arrived and help take my bag up. I was travelling solo and was nervous about carrying my bag down the stairs when I checked out, so half packed it, carried my packing cells down separately and packed the rest in the foyer. Easy solution. If you're fit and able, don't let the stairs put you off because they are stairs everywhere you go in Dubrovnik. And the top floor room is worth it because it's beautiful.
