Liked: Its an easy walk along the shore front from the bus station to the Hostel. I travelled there from Mostar. I had only booked Petra Marina about a week before as my original hostel 365 in Dubrovnik had decided to close early in the season for refurbishment. Actually Im glad I ended up at Petro Marina.There are cafes and small supermarkets in the same building as the hostel. Reception is reached by a lift/elevator at ground level. There is a bigger supermarket (Tommy) further along the road. Urban Veggie restuarant nearby was excellent. The bus stop to the Old Town is directly across from the hostel and buses are quite frequent. I visited the Old town both days that I was there using my Dubrovnik Pass which included bus fares and most museums. The hostel kitchen is modern and clean with good appliances, utensils and fridge space. There is a balcony directly outside where you can eat. Shower rooms and toilets are separate from the dorms and are kept clean. More hooks or shelf space for clothes and toiletries would be useful for changing before and after showers. The water was hot and of good pressure. Hand washing can be done and clothes can be dried on clothes racks on the balcony outside dorm room. The dorm roooms are attractive and of a decent size with large lockers. Good bedside lighting and electric points for charging etc. There is AC. The roller blinds for each bed are effective but noisy. The acoustics in the room arent great either - I needed my ear plugs. Hostel Manager (sorry I cant spell his name) was always present and was really great and had a nice sense of humour too. He was always very helpful with directions and recommendations. Always working hard too. Most people in the hostel were sociable, I had some interesting conversations with lovely friendly people in the kitchen and balcony area outside the kitchen. The Bus to the airport leaves from the bus station along the road, a short walk there. I booked my ticket online the night before.

Liked: Nice and clean and had spacious outside seating areas to chill and relax. Sleeping areas comfortable.
Disliked: Kitchen area a little small but was clean, so not the end of the world
