  Would not recommend unless you are young, strong and fit

  Liked: The apartment is beautiful. Clean and fairly-sized

  Disliked: I absolutely did not like the 139 steep steps I had to climb at midnight with a suitcase. I also did not like the short cut down of 122 steps I later found.

  Cozy, clean compact apartments

  Liked: Four couples is a lot to plan a two night stay within the old city walls but finding Lavender with individual rooms and onsuites was a big relief. Although small, each room was clean and bright with modern touches. Our room had coffee in the cupboard, hot water pot, comfortable bed, set in the upper section near the cast wall. Location was quiet and up from the main area, 250' from Buza Bar. You will get your steps in, as really anywhere in old Town, so make sure you're back-packing your lbag. All eight of us couldn't have been happier with our stay. Highly recommend Lavender for staff response, room cleanliness and quiet location.

  Disliked: Yes, the location requires your energy to reach but really so does anywhere exploring within the old fortress walls. You will meet your apple watch exercise steps for sure.

  Lovely and comfortable

  Liked: Clean, strong AC, comfortable bed and ready to use kitchenette. Indications to get in were very clear!

  Disliked: A bit expensive but seems to be the usual Dubrovnik prices.

  I would not stay there ever again and would not recommend

  Liked: Nothing

  Disliked: Hundreds of very steep steps until you get to the property… which was not advertised when I got the room. It was advertised as a hotel, but there’s nothing like a hotel there. Very noisy (we could hear other tenants conversation). Too small. The sink was so tiny it barely fit our hand. And did I mention the endless steps to get to the property??? Needed to hire a company to help carrying the luggage (a carry on), because the way up the stairs was so cruel.
