  Terrible

  Liked: Room was clean and comfortable m.

  Disliked: The initial photos appears to show a lovely lobby where there is none. Believe they have since been removed. The is no one on site to check you in. You collect your room key from a box on a wall. You communicate with a person via phone who isn’t even located in Croatia. Numerous stairs to climb up to get to place and difficult to find. Terrible if you’re not in shape and have heavy luggage. Needed photos provided to find.

  Liked: Just a few minutes from the Old Town, the guesthouse is modern, very clean and comfortable. I arrived in Dubrovnik in an absolute downpour, and the team who happened to be on site could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They made sure I had everything I needed, including extra towels, which was very much appreciated after arriving completely soaked! It is a self-service guesthouse, so there is no traditional reception, but communication is easy and responsive via WhatsApp. Overall, a great base for exploring Dubrovnik, with a fantastic location, comfortable rooms and, in my experience, a genuinely warm and helpful welcome.

  Disliked: There are steps to negotiate with luggage, so it may not suit everyone.

  Quiet location, very close to Pile Gate with views across to Fort Lovrijenac. Very helpful staff and quick responses
