Fabulous
Liked: Lovely and clean and well cared for.
Disliked: To many conferences going on which made it very noisy at evening meals.
OK for a short stay
Liked: Views from balcony were stunning. Breakfast experience for the V Level was pretty special/fancy
Disliked: The V Level experience by the pool in the roped off area was spoilt by the member of staff who just looked annoyed at having to bring the food and drink over. She was so unwelcoming and looked like she’d rather be anywhere else but doing her job.
Exceeded expectations - will be back
Liked: We couldn't have had a better time a Lacroma. I am very sceptical of 'resort' style stays either because they are over-priced, there isn't enough to do that isn't expensive or I just think we may get bored. We travelled with a nearly-3-year old and had our most relaxing holiday ever. The staff were super helpful -- we got an upgrade too which didn't hurt! When you're traveling with a toddler you just hope you can get some rest but the bed was HUGE so when she didn't want to be in the cot there was plenty of room. Room furnishing were very nice. The app is fantastic to get whatever you may need brought to your room. But the actual hotel and grounds were so much nicer than we anticipated! There were several levels of patios and outdoor spaces to enjoy the sun, or wander the grounds. People kept saying it was a conference hotel when I read comments beforehand--it feels far nicer than that, with a fab spa, gym and indoor pool/sauna. It was a great mix of people, some older couples, some younger, some families, some tour groups, not overrun with kids. I did the gym or spa whilst my husband took our girl to 'Maro World' which was less than 5 min walk on the grounds- which is huge and free for kids of all ages with loads to do (gaming room, lego area, softplay, cinema). She trampolined every day! We also did short walks (10 min) to the many beaches nearby, beautiful water and nice for sunbathing. We had another few days booked in central Dubrovnik so we didn't venture there, but it was 10 mins on the bus which stops right outside the hotel. We have texted all of our friends to come with us next year - we will be back!
Disliked: The only thing I didn't adore was the PM food some nights- but it was a huge, high-quality series of buffets for morning and night (honestly you'd struggle not to get what you want). But the room service and poolside menu felt far more limited and pricey - more healthy, smaller dishes (non burger, non pasta, more than 1-2 salads) and other choices for that menu would be so preferred as by day 2 it's a bit samey. If you didn't want room service or the hotel dinner buffet, not loads of places nearby that aren't pizza or pasta or other 'heavy' foods. Luckily the hotel buffet was expansive and allowed you huge variety overall, esp ideal for kids.
A great place to relax
Liked: Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice. Outdoor pool a bit cold but it was October! Indoor pool much warmer, We enjoyed using the Spa.
Disliked: As VLevel guests we found some of the facilities we closed as it was late in the season. The room could be a bit noisy when other people moving around in other rooms.

Liked: The breakfast was amazing with every taste and dietary requirement catered for. The staff were very friendly, from arrival, to the cleaning staff. The house red wine was also very good! Whilst the location of the hotel was a little out of the main tourist area, being on the bus route with a stop right outside made things a lot easier. We didn't use all the facilities at the hotel but the ones that we did, were very good.
Disliked: We didn't think much of the meal that we had in the evening, which was disappointing after the breakfast was so good. The air con worked for the first night but then we couldn't get it to work for the rest of the week, no matter what we tried.
Been here twice and I don't think that it will be a tirdh time!!!
Liked: Has a parking location is good,food is excellent
Disliked: For that price and when you ask them to get a room with a view you expect at least a terase
