  Disliked: Reseption is worst in my life, just check-in took 50 minutes for no reason I wait for car service guy another 15-20 mins and its no wat to park car by my self only wait No help with bags, employees are nowhere Crazy poor breakfast! They try to save on everything, bad fruits, cheap cheeze etc No water in room at all! That was first time in all the hotels! In hot season you're running your vacation from trip to market to buy water Small pool for that amount of people, feeling like sardines in can They can give you towels for pool, but no way to change wet towels before 2 days So, as result, you're paying 600$ / night for nothing

  A wonderful stay right on the beach with a beautiful view!

  Liked: The location is absolutely perfect, right on the beach and along a vibrant tourist street. We had a beautiful view from our balcony—sitting there with a glass of wine and watching the sea was definitely a highlight. The breakfast was very good and included in the room rate. Although we only stayed for one night, we would gladly return for a longer stay!

  Disliked: There were quite a lot of people, and the parking situation was a bit crazy at first. However, the friendly staff guided us on where to safely park our car, so it all worked out perfectly.

  A clean and well-located hotel with good potential, especially for families

  Liked: The hotel has a great seafront location and the rooms are clean, pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, with a good selection of both sweet and savoury options. Tučepi is extremely crowded in August — finding space for even one towel on the beach can feel like an Olympic event, but of course this is not the hotel’s fault.

  Disliked: Pool loungers are often “reserved” early in the morning by towels whose owners are nowhere to be seen — apparently, some towels are much earlier risers than their owners! Unfortunately, the hotel does not seem to prevent this, and the displayed pool rules are largely ignored, with no lifeguard or effective supervision. Rules also seem to be applied somewhat creatively: taking a coffee outside the breakfast room is strictly forbidden, while guests openly leave with bags full of breakfast food. Apparently, a cup of coffee crossing the border is a serious matter, while half the buffet heading to the beach is perfectly fine. For a four-star hotel with international guests, more consistency — and perhaps a little more courtesy in enforcing the rules — would make a real difference.

  it was very expensive for what we got. The pool is packed, no deck chairs available

  Liked: The closeness to the beach, the staff at the buffet were welcoming and friendly.

  Disliked: The a/c was preset to 25, no way to adjust it any lower. The room was very tiny, hard to navigate. The fact that we didn't know ahead of that that our reservation included valet parking. The fact that we had to ask about everything, how to get beach towels, there is a system of a card and we didn't know you had to return towels to certain desk to get this cards back. Info ahead of time would be helpful.

Good to know

Amounts of the lunch and dinner supplements listed in the booking confirmation are only valid for online bookings. In case you order supplement meals on site at Bluesun Hotel Alga, the price of lunch is 28 EUR and for dinner is 32 EUR per person.

Take your dog on a well-deserved vacation! You can come with up to 1 dog, weighing up to 15 kg, announcement is necessary. Cleaning after the dog is charged additionally 25 eur/day. A mat, steel bowl, toy and waste bags are waiting for your best friend (available on request & extra charge). Couple of things to remember before your vacation: please do not leave your dog alone in the room for its own safety; keep your dog supervised; do not bring your dog into the closed part of the restaurant, pool or wellness area. Keep your dog on a leash during your stay and also please bring evidence of your dog’s vaccination. Have a nice stay!
